Fed: PM hopes One Nation not on way back
CANBERRA, Feb 9 AAP - Prime Minister John Howard said today it was up to voters to
decide whether One Nation was clawing its way back as a political force.
Efforts by National Party leader John Anderson to put One Nation last on how-to-vote
cards were this week undermined by some of his own backbenchers.
Mr Anderson warned his party that disunity over the issue would lead to electoral death,
advocating all Nationals put One Nation last.
But at least two federal Queensland Nationals, Bob Katter and De-Anne Kelly, yesterday
indicated they would not …
